Paterneity/Parental Leave in the UAE: His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has approved a federal decree-law amending certain provisions of the labor relations regulation. Under this amendment, male and female employees in the private sector are entitled to five days of paid parental leave to care for their newborns.
