India's most highly prized artist MF Husain dies aged 95  He had been unwell for several months. One of India's most famous artists, MF Husain, has died in hospital in London aged 95 after years of self-imposed exile. Maqbool Fida Husain was India's most highly prized - and perhaps most controversial - painter and his work sold for millions of dollars. His paintings of nude Hindu goddesses angered hardline Hindus who accused him of obscenity. He left India in 2006 and took up Qatari nationality in 2010. Mr Husain has also made two Bollywood films, although both failed at the box office. The maverick artist was often called the "Picasso of India" and influenced a whole generation of artists in the country. 'Never aged' With flowing white hair and long beard, he was known to walk barefoot at social gatherings. RIYADH-  Saudi Arabia’s recently opened Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University gets world-wide attention. The world’s largest women’s university, is located on the outskirts of the Saudi capital of Riyadh and has the capacity for 55,000 students to study subjects including business and science. It also has its own teaching hospital, laboratories and libraries.  The SR20-billion will boost women’s higher education in the Kingdom, said Huda Al-Ameel, the newly appointed PNU president. “The new campus, covering eight million square meters, is considered the largest women-only university in the world,” said Al-Ameel in a statement.  Apart from administrative buildings, the new campus includes a 700-bed university hospital, 15 colleges, a central library, a conference hall, laboratories and three research centers for nanotechnology, information technology and biosciences. Indian Muslims stage protest over fake illustration of Holy Prophet New Delhi, May 17, IRNA -- Hundreds of Indian Muslims on Monday staged protest in New Delhi against ‘Comic World Digest’ magazine over publishing the fake illustration of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Under the banner of Islamic Education Board of India and led by Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliyar (Sheikh Aboobacker), the General Secretary of All India Sunni Jamiyyathul Ulama and Mufti Muhammad Miyan Samar Dahlavi, Muslims protested at Jantar Mantar in Central Delhi.   The protestors expressed outrage over the attempt to defame Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
